Guerreri Book Release
Add to your calendar
Date: May 26, 4:00 pm
Continues Until:
Location: The Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum
Details: Come help celebrate the release of 'The Spaghetti Gang" by Richard Guerrieri and daughter Cara Guerrieri as well as "Pure Joy" by Phyllis Charlene Spann Guerrieri. Both Richard and Phyllis grew up in the Gunnison Valley. "The Spaghetti Gang" is Richards honest, fascinating retellings of his childhood and growing up as a coal miner's son turned rancher. He recounts many memories both with family and friends and paints a lovely picture of life in Crested Butte at a rougher time. "Pure Joy" is a collection of Phyllis' wonderfully charming paintings accompanied by brief accounts of growing up in a ranching family in the Gunnison Valley. It's a reminder to never stop learning new things and a boost of support and confidence for anyone looking to try something new. Join us for a meet and greet with the authors and light refreshments opening weekend, May 26th 4:00pm-5:30pm
