This powerful documentary celebrates the role of Native Americans in contemporary music and features some of the greatest musicians of our time. It reveals a critical, missing chapter in music history and how the Native spirit helped shape the soundtracks of our lives. Featuring music icons Link Wray, Jimi Hendrix, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Robbie Robertson, Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World uncovers the role of Native Americans in popular music history and culminates on a transcendent note in the present-day battleground of Standing Rock. In association with CBFF sponsors The Last Steep and James Brennan and Wendy Chatham. 103 minutes. Rated PG. Admission: $10.
