Volunteer Opportunities
KBUT is sustained and enriched by over 100 volunteers. Volunteers are what make KBUT unique, diverse and an invaluable resource to the community. We understand that everyone has something special to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer- just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment. Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience, give back to your community and have some fun! Here are just a few ways you can volunteer at KBUT:
- Answer phones for a pledge drive
- Assist at events such as Bingo Nights or the Friday Night Fish Fry
- Be a DJ- host your own weekly show or fill in when it's convenient
- Assist with mass mailings in our membership department
- Become a member of the Board of Directors or Community Advisory Board
Email Josh Elmer, Volunteer and Events Manager, at josh@kbut.org for more details. We celebrate diversity at KBUT in our programs and our personnel. Volunteer opportunities are open to all community members without regard to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender expression, political affiliation, veteran status or military obligations.
