Show Description:
Afro-funk.

What bands could a listener expect to hear on the show?
I cut my teeth listening to the jambands and the blues on KDHX Community Radio in St. Louis, MO. I studied West African Highlife music in Ghana. Bob Dylan is a prophet. Miles Davis tapped into a higher level. The best music city is New Orleans. I'm a Festivarian. You can expect to hear bands that have the classic instrumentation: drums, bass, guitars, keys, etc. That doesn't mean you won't ever hear synthesizers or computer generated sounds, it just has to retain the human soul.

What bands will a listener NEVER hear on the show?
Let's not rule anything out.

Favorite Beverage?
Soda Water, splash of cranberry juice, lemon, lime.

How long have you been a DJ?
4 years and running.

Hometown?
St. Louis, MO

Random thought?
People that sing folk songs never sing them the same way. - "If you're the same, the weather's different. even if you're the same and the weather's the same, you breathe different."
-Woody Guthrie
