December 17, 2011 - The West Elk Word talks with Brent Laney and Kat Hassebroek about their underground theatre production "Driving Fuzzy Bunnies." MD Grant McFarren also looks at the self-titled record from electronic music producer SBTRKT.

December 10, 2011 - The West Elk Word is talking with Briana Rose Wiles who is organizing the Gunnison Valley Swap-It: A Barter Bazaar. MD Grant McFarren also takes a look at the new Black Keys record El Camino.

December 3, 2011 - The West Elk Word is talking with the Early Childhood Council, the National Brotherhood of Skiers and is reviewing new music from a member of the Punch Brothers.

November 26, 2011 - This week, the West Elk Word talks with the new VP of sales and marketing of CBMR Scott Clarkson and Grant McFarren looks at an avant jazz collaboration.

November 12, 2011 - The West Elk Word talks to Celebrate the Beat, a dance collective that is presenting "Dancing Through New Orleans" this Thursday at the CB Community School. Music Director Grant McFarren also looks at the Beach Boys record "Smile."

November 5, 2011 - The West Elk Word talks with Ann Johnston of the Crested Butte Land Trust about a few projects they are working on. Grant McFarren looks at the new Tom Waits record. And we hear from Ryan Stringfellow in the GM Corner.

October 21, 2011 The West Elk Word talks with Julie Robinson of Gunnison Valley Habitat for Humanity, and we sit down with General Manager Ryan Stringfellow in the GM Corner.

October 7, 2011 - Roxana Alvarez talks with Larry Meredith and Debra Reich about the upcoming ballot initiatives focusing on new libraries in Gunnison County. Grant McFarren reviews the new DJ Shadow record, and we talk with Kraddy who is performing Wednesday night at the Eldo.

September 30, 2011 - The West Elk Word talks with Paonia resident Paolo Bacilupi who will be in CB and Gunnison this week to talk about his new book "The Windup Girl." We also talk to Holly Conn and Rose Tocke, two of many founders of the Mountain Roots Food Project. Grant McFarren also reviews some pretty good new blues rock, new on the KBUT shelves.

September 23, 2011 - We hear 2 cool interviews this week. The West Elk Word talks with Michael Brody of the upcoming Crested Butte Film Festival and Roxanna Alvarez talks with Rujeko Dumbutsheno who will be showcasing African dance in Crested Butte this upcoming Wednesday.
