Bike the Carbon Trail with GPLI
Add to your calendar
Date: July 28, 9:00 am
Continues Until:
Location: Carbon Trail
Details:

Join Dave Wiens of Gunnison Trails and Dave Ochs of CBMBA on a free guided mountain bike ride in the valley between Carbon, Whetstone, and Axtell mountains on Monday, July 28. The ride will follow the Carbon Trail through an area the Gunnison Public Lands Initiative has proposed for protection.

This strenuous, advanced ride is about 25 miles round trip. There will be options to turn around before the most difficult sections and to carpool to the trailhead, cutting off a few miles of road riding.

We will meet at the 4-Way Stop in Crested Butte at 9:00 am. Bring everything you need for a full day of biking — food, water, sunscreen, and your bike gear.

For more information and to register, please visit gunnisonpubliclands.org or call Hilary at 970-390-6689.
