Add to your calendar
Date: April 23, 3:45 pm
Continues Until:
Location: Old Rock Library
Details: The Old Rock Library is thrilled to announce the revival of our after school program for tweens (students ages 8-12 years old)!  Formerly known as the After School Science Program, we’re branching out into other areas, and we’re now offering a bi-weekly “Tween Scene”.  Kids, join us on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, or both, from 3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. for this FREE program!  We’re going to do A LOT of science, including Grossology ( the science of gross stuff) and engineering, as well as art, drama, games and whatever seems like a good idea!  Rockets!  Legos!  Duct Tape!  Improv!  Light snacks and water will be available.  NOTE: the age limits will be strictly enforced, i.e. no younger siblings- sorry!  Of course, ALL children are welcome in the library, but only tweens are invited to take part in the Tween Scene program.  We will start Tuesday April 23rd, and run every Tuesday and Wednesday until the last week in May.  Then, stay tuned for our Summer Reading Programming happening on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. for tweens.  Please call or email the library to let us know you’re interested in the Tween Scene, so we can get a rough estimate on how many supplies to have on hand: (970)349-6535, or jhillebrandt@marmot.org.  See you soon!
