Healing Yoga For Survivors

Location: Sanctuary Yoga Studio 405 W. Tomichi Ave in Gunnison
Details: Perfect for those experiencing: post-surgical pain, limited range of motion, sleep issues, fatigue, hormonal issues and digestive problems. This gentle group class is for those who have either undergone treatment disease, life traumas or are currently in active treatment. All surgical incisions need to be healed and a platelet count of at least 20,000 is required. All are welcome at any phase of treatment as long as the above criteria is met.  Cost is by sliding scale of 10 classes for $50-$75, scholarships are also available. Please contact Leia Morrison at 275-8927 before attending class for the first time. Leia Morrison is a certified yoga teacher with over a decade of teaching experience.  She is currently interning with the Yoga for Survivors yoga therapy program in Boulder, Colorado.
