Teen Graffiti
Add to your calendar
Date: April 28, 2:00 pm
Location: ASCA, 111 Elk Avenue
Details: Class meets sundays, 2:00-4:00 p.m., April 28-May 26

This class for middle and high school students will focus on the ever-changing and sometimes controversial world of grafitti and street art. In addition to studying the history of street art and well-known grafitti artists, like Banksy, students will work with design concepts, drawing, stenciling, spray painting, and speed painting to make their own artistic statements.

Class will conclude with tagging an actual wall in town, with permission of course, as all work will be either done in the classroom or approved before it is carried out, and no vandalism will take place during this class.
