Cleo brings cultural immersion to the world of dance through an explosive body of works inspired by the African American experience and rooted in black dance traditions. They transcend the boundaries of culture, class and age while unequivocally communicating the complexity of the human condition. Deemed a National Cultural Treasure, the troupe has toured as Cultural Ambassadors to over 20 countries including and performed in legendary venues such as New York City’s Lincoln Center and Jacob’s Pillow.
