KBUT Local News
KBUT partners with the Gunnison Country Times and Crested Butte News to bring listeners local news programming on a daily basis. Tune in Monday thru Friday at 12:06 pm (following NPR's noon news headlines) and 6:30 pm (following NPR's All Things Considered). Local news stories air at 6 pm on the weekends.

In addition, Than Acuff's Sports Barrel brings you local sports action every Wednesday at 2 pm and 8 pm.

KBUT airs Capitol Coverage at 6:30 pm.  This project provides news reports from the Colorado state legislature while in session. 
 
 


Nature Notes
Broadcasts Sundays during June, July, and early August. 

Join Dr. Mel Harte and Adam Smith from the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado for this informative half-hour show exploring the natural world around us.
