Show Description: Mix of Americana, roots, blues, world and alternative country What Bands could a listener expect to hear on the show? Greg Brown, Alela Diane, Ali Farka Toure, Lucinda Williams, Nora Jones, and new releases in music genres listed above. What Bands will a listener NEVER hear on the show? Heavy metal, Rap, Classic Rock If you had a band, what would you name it? I would have think about that for a year at least. If you could see anyband, anywhere, who would you see and where? Ali Farka Toure (except he died recently). I’d like to see him Mali or at the Center for the Arts. How long have you been a DJ? About five years for Dirt Farmers Revenge. Prior to that about 15 years in public radio as fill-in DJ, news director in Homer, Alaska, and former News Reporter and Program director at KBUT. What do you do when you're not at KBUT? I play –ski, bike, hike, camp, cook, travel, and I work as Town Clerk for the Town of Crested Butte. Also help my husband with his business Smoky Bay Fisheries (Wild Alaska Salmon sales). Hometown?
