Seth Mensing has been a staff writer for the Crested Butte News since the spring of 2008. He covers county government and the school district, as well as picking up feature story assignments throughout the area. Originally from upstate New York, Seth moved to Colorado in 2003 to finish his degree in journalism at Colorado State University - Pueblo. He now lives with his wife and son in Crested Butte South, where he is close to the mountains he moved here for.
