Chris Dickey, Gunnison Country Times In 2009, Chris Dickey is celebrating his 20th year in the Gunnison Valley. Like many, he first came here to attend school at Western State College. He graduated from there with a BA in business and a minor in journalism in 1993. For the most part, since then he's been working as a community journalist. He's been the managing editor of the Gunnison Country Times since 2002 and the co-owner of Gunnison Country Publications since January of 2006. He originally hails from Colorado's Front Range, on a small family ranch his great-grandfather homesteaded at the turn of the 20th century.
